My Background

Donna Foard Knorr, Owner and Founder in 2010 of The Piedmont School of Etiquette, is passionate about teaching etiquette and protocol to young children through adults.  


Donna has been trained and certified as an Etiquette Consultant at the prestigious American School of Protocol®, Atlanta, GA.  


She holds a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Alabama, a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from Catawba College.  


Donna has been a Speech Pathologist for 40 years in the Cabarrus County Schools. Seventeen of those years she also taught theatre arts, winning many awards at state/regional competitions. She has been an adjunct professor for the Cabarrus College of Health Sciences teaching Public Speaking. Donna has taught Voice and Diction for the former Cities Classics Modeling Agency.  


Due to an increased demand for manners and etiquette training, Donna believes that the Piedmont School of Etiquette will provide an invaluable addition to any person's development and education.
